  • Bronze

  • 60 x 14 in. (width at base) / 152 x 35.5 cm (width at the base)

This finely cast, elegant pedestal lamp depicts mythical creatures on the base, cranes in high relief on the stem areas and birds among rocks and trees on the upper section. Each section divided by elaborate patterns.  Rarely produced in this size.  The lamp disassembles into four pieces. The finish is very good to excellent with a soft bronze glow. Minor scuffing as shown in the image of the base.

Not shown: at some point in its history, the lamp was fitted with an insert for oil or kerosine. The insert is stamped Made in USA. The insert was later adapted again, to electrify the lamp. The bottom of the lift-out insert was drilled to accommodate electrical wiring.
