Guan Yin is the goddess of compassion and kindness. Originally, Guan Yin was depicted as male yet in modern times the female depiction is more common. This contemporary version is attractive with a pleasing countenance (the most important feature for us) flowing robes and a nicely rendered lotus pedestal.
